Advantages of LED decorative light bulbs
No UV light
LEDs provide a great value proposition when it comes to decorative lighting. LED decorative light bulbs are installed in chandeliers not just to reduce the need of frequent bulb replacement but also to protect the precious paintings and artwork displayed in the vicinity. LEDs do not produce UV light and consequently their light is much kinder on paintings and artwork and prevents photo degradation.
Long bulb life
LED bulbs last many times longer than either incandescent or halogen bulbs. In addition, at the end of its life an LED decorative light will not simply stop working. The importance of high IP rating lighting products
Good IP ratings are particularly important for wall washer lights that may be used in areas that are exposed to rain or may be around fountains. IP is an abbreviation for “Ingress Protection”. A two-digit number follows the abbreviation IP. The first number indicates the level of protection against hazardous objects while the second digit indicates protection from harmful ingress of water. Thus, an IP 65 rated product ensures complete protection against ingress from contact and dust and is not affected by water projected at it from a nozzle from any direction.
